Documentation Changes and New Standards of Care

  • 11/17/2023 3:20-5:00 pm
  • Location: Royal Ballroom VI VIII

Chiropractors often feel isolated in the discussion of mainstream healthcare, believing an equal seat at the healthcare table is far fetched. This class will prove that this isolated thinking is a way of the past, and the future of healthcare depends on the integration of chiropractic, and strategic care plans for your patient is now more than ever; yet it is our job to communicate this effectively. We have invited a panel of doctors to illustrate how documentation and record keeping are communication tools that allow us to interact with the allopathic community. Documented results from Gallup Poll #3 will be followed by chiropractors focusing on different areas of interactive success between chiropractors and the medical model, showcasing how the collaborative community has the greatest benefit for patients. If chiropractic is to take a prominent seat at the healthcare table, it will have to do so with research, statistics, an established outlined care of plan as described by the participants in this panel, and in a spirit of cooperation. With the climate of society and ever changing healthcare, the time is NOW!

Patient Stretching & Ergonomics: Maximize Your Value, and Increase the Patient Experience

  • 11/18/2023 1:00-2:40 pm
  • Location: Acacia IV-VI

Lecture format 50%:

Dr. Chris reminds us all of our reasons for being ” pain relief ” and optimizing health and wellbeing.  Pain and global disability combined with understanding symptoms better allow the CA to act in the best way as the symptoms dictate. Touching on evidence-based home care like stretching and ergonomics allows the CA to have meaningful conversations with each and every patient.

The practical session 50%:

Dr. Chris and his team will teach the CA scientifically-proven safe static stretches to prepare the patient before their adjustment.  Relax them and make the adjustment easier and last longer. We will integrate the same processes that we used to build Fortune 500 companies programs, like Massage Envy and Office Depot.

The session will end with practical tips and training in the ergonomic space to help prevent unnecessary flare ups and provide longer lasting hold to their adjustments.
